Mala Suerte!

It has been a quite Feburary at Bleach Tactics in terms of updates. I have been occuppied by real life stuff and it has taken some toll on BT. However, we are back on track and have released a new mission series - Mala Suerte! These missions generally follow volume 23 of Bleach.

If you have comments about skill changes or other balance changes - post at Balance Update #8 on the forums.

Three new characters have entered the game; Edrad Liones, Shawlong Kufang, and Yylfordt Granz.

The level cap has been raised to 40.

Matchmaking levels have been raised from 5 to 10 for faster games.

HP has been boosted to 300. This may or may not be permanent, we will gauge that decision based upon how 300 HP performs.

A lot of new character portraits have been added. Clear your cache to see them.

Baboon Bone Rush Lv. 1 - Lowered the base damage to 20.
Baboon Bone Rush Lv. 2 - Lowered the base damage to 30.
Baboon Bone Rush Lv. 3 - Lowered the base damage to 40.

Split, Hozukimaru Lv. 1 - This skill will no longer always deal critical damage.
Split, Hozukimaru Lv. 2 - This skill will no longer always deal critical damage.
Split, Hozukimaru Lv. 3 - This skill will no longer always deal critical damage.

Tear Off, Ashisogi Jizo Lv. 1 - This skill now only stuns for 1 turn, but now deals piercing damage.
Tear Off, Ashisogi Jizo Lv. 2 - This skill now only stuns for 1 turn, but now deals piercing damage.
Tear Off, Ashisogi Jizo Lv. 3 - This skill now only stuns for 1 turn, but now deals piercing damage.

Hado #63: Thunder Roar Cannon Lv. 1 - Lowered the base damage to 20. Increased the cooldown to 2.
Hado #63: Thunder Roar Cannon Lv. 2 - Lowered the base damage to 30. Increased the cooldown to 2.
Hado #63: Thunder Roar Cannon Lv. 3 - Lowered the base damage to 40. Increased the cooldown to 2.

Jokaisho Release - The Accuracy on this skill should now be fixed.

This update was the best so far, thank you guys for these great changes and characters....

I liked everything...except the nerfed Baboon Bone Rush...I think it was too extreme...but anyways I'm looking forward to the next update and to see at least 1 or 2 new espadas!

Since all the character's hp has been raised to 300, will Kon's still stay the same?

Kons has been raised to 300 too. I just finished a game with him. Also, shouldnt the super skills like getsuga rush or final shot, be raised to 150 damage to equal out for the bonus hp gain?

its still good for breaking evasion. which is what it was meant to do. Not deal 80+ damage every attack. This update was awesome.

Typical. People get an update and only find the negative aspect of it. BBR (Baboon Bone Rush), like most evasion breakers are made for just that. It's not made to be a primary attack. It's made to do some damage to people who rely on evasion tactics so you aren't a sitting duck. If you look at Renji closely, you'll notice that his Howl, Zabimaru does more damage than BBR now. Maybe not as much as a lvl 3 BBR, but let's face it, it was overpowered in the 1st place. But I digress.

Now on to my personal thoughts of this update. They fixed almost every annoying problem and even added some new features (higher lvl cap and range, 300 HP). I'm really enjoying the battles. As for the new chars, I have 2 of them so far and although 1 could use improvement, both are good if used properly. Now if only I can get that Shawlong Kufang lol.

Yeah i also think that BBR was too OP, but now it's the same as Howl Zabimaru but with the break evasion...it needed to be nerfed but not so much...well that's only my opinion.

Well this updat ein my opinion is the beggining of a bright future for b-t the exp range and the increase of levle cap and also the increase of hp are totally cool but also has a downfall the new character that are coming out are becoming dry and useless we need more unqiue characters/skill abilities.
