Im going to vote for Black Materia.
The only competition out there is Granzenboma's Big Bang attack.And that move takes about 3 - 4 times the amount of time Sephiroth needs to summon the Meteor and for the Meteor to hit (As shown in Dissidia where the casting time is 5seconds).Also the Black Materia is something that cannot be destroyed while Granzeboma is, the Black Materia gives Sephiroth with the use of Meteor the Supernova attack.This attack causes the destruction of the entire Solar System by use of a meteor summoned with the use of the knowledge gained from the Lifestream.Also both Meteor and Supernova can be used more than once.Meaning by the time Granzeboma gets a hold on those universes he would have been hit by the Ultimate Destructive Magic.
Thats why I believe the Black Materia is the best weapon in this competition.

IF you saw the original sephiroth supernova the giant meteor had to travel through only one galaxy just to reach on star thats much longer then grabbing to galaxy then smashing them together.
He grabs two galaxies smashes two like 2 pancakes smashed them smush together. fires a blast thats equal to a big bang, Last time i check a big bang is much stronger then a super nova After all a big bang can create a super nova and the exists of galaxies, for god sakes he throws galaxies around like freezbee. My vote would obviously go to Granzenboma for reason that the fact none of the other contenstent can create a power strong enough to match a big bang.

The original animation was slow because of the effect of Holy(not to mention it was a 1996 animation -.-). Besides what good is a weapon someone can destroy?The Black Materia like cannot be destroyed and even if the attack gets countered it still spreads a dreadful plague that has no cure and a 100 percent guarantee to kill.

The original althoguh was slow but it showed how black materia works black materia cannot be used by sephiroth alone, I simply brought up the time of the meteor crashing into becuase you brought it up and i simply countered that. I last time i checked this match is not about how immortal a weapon is but how powerful it is.

eeeeeeh sparda (force edge) is a source of god-like sword power with destructive energy....I think well it has an enormous destructive power but not good as Sephiroth and AS the only thing i am sure about is that it has a demonic power and gives u immortality...well since its not a fight its only the strongest weapon kind of battle then.... i vote for sparda why?because the owner of this sword will receive god-like power and pure immortality<<<<which means its strong...while others just receive destructive power thats good but sparda (force edge) can own.

Sephiroth can use it alone because of the knowledge of the Lifestream he has.He even went to the trouble of explaining it in the game.And how did you counter? Like I said Meteor was slow because of the effect of Holy without the effect of Holy it takes around 5 seconds to cast as shown in Dissidia which is as original as any Final Fantasy game.And best doesn't mean powerful.Having a weapon thats powerful is good, but having a weapon that is both powerful, faster and immortal with a 100 percent guarantee to kill, is even better.

Force Edge is truly a good weapon but very limited.And it has a huge disantvantage.If the user is unable to fully resonate the user turns into a demonic slime instead of getting on hold of Sparda's powers. And it was never stated that it makes you immortal , it just gives you the power of Sparda.

Dude yet again.It was never stated that Sparda was immortal.You cant go on and just assume things.And i aint talking about dropping the sword, im talking about how on earth will someone hold it 24/7.Plus if Sparda is the one you compete with well then he doesnt need the sword, cause the swords power comes from him,this is about weapons not masters remember?And everyone that inhabits the Demon World is a Devil/Demon , it doesnt matter what you call them.And Arkham didnt have the Force Edge when he becaem a blob.Anyway your weapon has backfires a lot and its strength is nothing compared to others.At its best it just cuts enemies down in one shot.But at my best I blow up the Universe with Supernova.

PS: You need the perfect amulet to awaken the sword too, or else its just metal.One half belongs to Dante and the other to Vergil.
