Predictions about the Fake Karakura Town arc

Then again, I felt like this kind of thread is necessary.

So basicly, this thread is all about predictions about the on going arc on the manga "Fake Karakura Town" (FKT for short). Here, all the members would be able to say out their predictions and possibilities about the on going arc.
I'll start with mine.

When Ichigo and Unohana arrive to the FKT, Gin and Shinji will be fighting furiously. Obviously, Shinji wasn't going to wait for his revenge against Gin and is going all out on him, using his mask and shikai (to get things more exciting, Shinji would probably be using his bankai in a late fight). As usually, Aizen standing somewhere near by with that grin on his face and Tousen near by. Meanwhile Kensei and WW (Wonderweiss) fight. Most definitely, Kensei doesn't stand a chance against WW, so Lisa will be joining the fight as other Vizards are being wounded of fights against the Espadas. As Aizen had stated before, WW is extremely strong so obviously, both Vizards be defeated (not killed, Kubo wouldn't let that to happen..).
After some pointless hassling between Aizen's slaves and Vizards, things settle down to Aizen against Ichigo (Tousen gets most likely defeated by some of his old friend). There'll be some slashing between those two before Aizen releases his shikai. As expected, Ichigo ignores any eye-contact to it and closes his eyes before engaging towards Aizen. Ichigo remembers something that Ishida had thought him about Spirit threads- back to the basics. (gets sloppy)Aizen uses bankai, something about related to illusions like his shikai but few hundred times more powerful. Maybe related to making his illusions real (not "real" as in making some illusions real to sb).

I have this odd feeling Yamamoto is gonna turn around and stab everyone in the back. I mean for one, hes certainly known about everything that happened between the Vaizards and Aizen since the beginning, yet allowed Aizen to continue his plans and kill the central 46. Then we have Yamamoto gladly attack his 2 favorite students back when the betrayal happened, yet doesn't do a thing to Aizen back then or even now. Finally, Yamamoto could clearly take out the top 3 Esapda on his own, but decided to let his captains do it and risk their lives, which he didn't seem to care about.

Frankly I'm already laughing at the fact Aizen cut down Harribel, but in doing so made EVERYONE see him draw his Shikai, so technically everyone who might have had its effect worn away, is now back under its illusion. Its almost sad how screwed everyone is.

If Yama was to turn, though, he's had plenty of chances to do so already. The captains v. Espada fights were there for plot, etc., because if Yama killed all of Aizen's goons then the series would turn incredibly boring. Since when do all plot devices make logical sense? XD

Yama himself makes no logical sense. Lets just imagine this for a moment.

Aizen opens the gate to the spirit King, he enters it and battles with "Squad 0". Yama hurries in to "Protect" the King and during the battles that in sue, the King happens to "accidentally" die, along side all of, or most of Squad 0. Who is left to run soul society with both the king and central 46 dead? Certainly not Aizen for obvious reasons, then we have good ol' Yamamoto, the entrusted Guardian of Seireitei remaining.

Well for Hellcats theory of Yama , yeah guess , makes some sense , Yama really didnt do a thinfg to try and stop Aizen , i also think that it wont change now , he will leave it to Ichigo and "chill in the background" ... :P

Makes sense. But maybe Yamamoto is just being lazy and hoping that his dear servants can handle the Espada? If it be so, the Espada would die but wound the Gotei 13 making the situation more hopeless for the Gotei 13 against Aizen who is going to make the King's Key (if he already doesn't have it..).

a. Kensei doesn't stand a chance--he's resorting to Bankai, while Wonderweiss isn't even in his released state yet. But, I would definitely like to see a bit of Unohana whupass, and Wonderweiss is a great target. XD

b. Yama's going to fail in whatever he's going to do, as Ichigo has to be the one to defeat Aizen.

c. The two of them are pretty much equal, but I can just picture them pulling Bankai on each other. Tousen's screwed there, as Komamura can just flail wildly and he'll probably hit him with his huge samurai giant-thing.

He is one of the stronger Vizards, but the Vizards haven't really lived up to their hype so far. :(

I'd imagine that it's a jacked-up version of his Shikai--more of the ultrasonic wave things, and much stronger. Though, the weird armor kind of throws that off...

The Vizards suck compared to what they're supposed to be like. They're all ex-captains or vice-captains, and they all have their Hollow powers, so...shouldn't they be more Ichigo's level than the pushovers they're turning out to be? >_>

I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen, actually. Since Shinji and Hiyori were close (probably the wrong word there, but...) Gin will probably have a seriously pissed Shinji charging him.

I actually saw one of those fake motivational posters on Photobucket that compared Kensei's smile to that of Kenpachi. XD

I think Aizen prepared another tricky illusion & he'll be gone (if he is even in Karakura,lol) soon.I don't know how it would happen,but i think the last moments will be with the King of SS,the last arc might be there.Maybe Aizen found an alternate way to make a Key and that could possibly be something with the espadas,'cause he kinda' sacrifised them...

Sacrifices went to gain more souls. After all, Yammy already got loads of souls with his Gonzui.
I may be wrong, but don't all Espada consist of punch of hollows (1 hollows eats another one *gets stronger*, eats another *gets more stronger*, eat another who has eaten 2 hollows *gets stronger, has total of 5 follows* and so on) and hollows are just a subcategory of souls.

There's a chance that Aizen let his Espada die to afterwards use them as a part of King's Key. Why not just take those souls in the first place, why all this hassle and waiting for the Espada death?- Well maybe, Aizen found it as a safer way. 10 Espada against him seem to be a pretty strong opponents. Besides, their Resureccions' should even cure that hypnosis.
If it'd be so, Aizen has all the souls he needs (Aaronniero consisted of ~33 000 hollows).

Although my theory fails if hollows ain't souls xD.

I realized that Ulquiorra is also somebody who could see through Aizen's shikai. Ulquiorra stated, that he can not see what doesn't exist.

It's seems that many predictions I've read have come true- Tousen and, most likely Gin, have gained Vizard powers (masks). Most likely, they are far more powerful than Shinji's and his comrade's masks are. Aizen even had stated that Shinji and others were a failure.

It would actually be really awkward if Shinji would now go against Aizen alone, although Gin was the one who (pretty brutally) killed Hiyori (hope I spelled it right..).

Also, how many main-ish characters have died in this series?

-Ichigo. But they resurrected him, what, twice?
-Various Arrancar/Espada, but they had to for the sake of plot.
-Kaien (though, that was integral to the Soul Society arc...)
-No Vizards
-No shinigami (besides minor ones)
-No humans (except Ichigo's mother and Orihime's brother)

I don't exactly see any reason for Kubo to start killing off characters now, if he hasn't already. Hiyori's probably the worst injury we've seen, but, honestly, it's probably just for drama.

Apparently, Aizen has found the way to make better Shinigame/Hollow hybrids than the Espadas were.

I'm pretty sure that it's going to be Gin and Aizen against Shinji. Gin will aid Aizen somewhere in the middle of the battle. Not because Aizen couldn't handle it, but because Gin is a lapdog of his. I'm pretty sure that Gin has also advanced to Bankai and presumably to also Resureccion (including donning a mask), like Tousen has. Now to think, it's Komamura vs Tousen and Gin vs Shinji. That should tell that Gin is more powerful than Tousen is because Shinji could handle Tousen well. Tousen may be fast as hell.. but Shinji is faster than hell xD (while masked, that is for both).

Thing is...Shinji will lose. It's inevitable, typical shonen drama. Ichigo's the only one who hasn't seen Aizen's release, or so they say, and if a side character like Shinji defeats Aizen before Ichigo even gets there...well, there's not much of a dramatic plot there, is there?

Also, if a masked Ichigo under Bankai isn't able to defeat Ulquiorra, who's just a goon, then there's no way that Shinji can win over Aizen in the end.

Can't wait to see Gin in action, though. XD

That's true that Aizen will not be fighting as the Espada BUT considering that Tousen has been the most successful Shinigami/Hollow hybrid so far (apparently, better than the Espada were- Tousen is able to don his mask, presumably go Bankai and certainly go Resureccion). It would be a wise move if Aizen would do the same for himself. Of course, do it even better (dunno, Bankai and Resureccion fusion?).

But about Shinji and Aizen. To be honest, Shinji is a tough opponent for Aizen. After all, he was Aizen's captain. I'm sure that the fight is going to look like this- both use their Shikai, to see whose is better; Shinji gets serious and goes Bankai and dons his mask afterwards (or the other way around); Aizen does something hollowic (maybe dons a mask, just to show off that he is better, stronger); Shinji dies.

So, it was Shinji's Shikai not Bankai. I kind a liked it. The shape of the sword looked cool, it fit with the effect of his Shikai. Although it's a bit stupid that Aizen figured out Shinji's Shikai so fast. I mean, Shinji should know each and every effect of his Shikai so well but Aizen.. he just figures it out in a matter of minutes. Disappointment.. And it's sad that Tosen died. I mean, he finally realized that he's a complete moron. Ichigo's entrance to the fake Karakura town also looked cool.

Eh it's all bullshit to be honest. Aizen figuring out Shinji's Shikai so soon? Garbage. And, then on top of that Tosen being killed by Hisagai? The guy who's scared shitless of his own, sword; garbage. It's probably all gonna be an illusion by Aizen, just to weaken the Soul Society (I think that's the twist) so it'd be easier to move in and, obtain the king's key. But there's some loop holes in that because, why didn't Aizen just do that before? Yeah, it's all twisted and garbage at this point.

Hisagi killing Tosen was rather logical. I mean, Tosen suddenly gained sight which he has never had. Of course you'll be over excited and thrilled by it and forget about the fight. Or the fact that when your blind, you sense the surroundings better in a way, like hearing somebody coming up from behind but while you're able to see, you concentrate on your sight not hearing.
No wonder Tosen got killed -.-..

But ya, the fact that Aizen is just letting everyone die off without caring about it is indeed garbage. It's either an illusion, Aizen is plotting something evil (involving his Bankai!) or he needs those dead Espada to reform King's Key. A small reminder- souls of Espada-like Arrancar consist from tens of thousands souls (Aaronierra's consisted from ~32 000 souls).

I'm pretty sure they will. I'm 100% about Urahara and Yoruichi coming to help but not so sure about Ichigo's father. I mean, all humans (expect Ishida, who was in Huenco Mundo at that time) were put to sleep including Ichigo's family.

I'm pretty sure that Ichigo is going to die in some point and reborn. How? That could only happen when Ichigo would be in his body, get killed, be sent to the Soul Society and there you go, a reborn Ichigo =D. Although on the way to the Soul Society he could become a Hollow.

Okay, the fight makes a lot more sense now. But it's pretty obvious now what Aizen is going to do. Let me explain (in a dramatic way). Komamura-san says "We will protect you" after he had stated that Ichigo is the only one who has seen Aizen's shikai. Now.. There's Ichigo who hasn't seen Aizen's shikai and the whole Gotei 13 + the Vizards who ALL have seen his shikai. Yeah, now comes to ROFL-LMAO-LOL moment. It's basically Ichigo vs Everybody.

It was very amusing how Aizen was just playing with Ichigo, laughing at Ichigo for being short-to-put: weak.

I just LOVED this chapter. But now, I'm almost 100% sure that Aizen has already used his shikai OR Aizen is gonna use his Resurrecion to heal himself and get serious. I almost liked the fact that all the captains who are up against Aizen gave their everything, especially Soifon. I mean, this is probably the only time when we'll be seeing Soifon move that fast to actually great dozens of after-images.

When first I was kind a disappointed, then now, I'm really happy about the way things turned out. It really is an all out battle now.
