Don't care if it gets deleted, but it's an important chapter.

So, what we found out was that Ichigo is the only one who hasn't witnessed Aizen's shikai and all humanity has (including captains, whole Gotei-13) giving only him the ability to kill Aizen. Which is good 'cos now, most likely, there won't be a stupid plot about Ichigo being under Aizen's shikai and breaking free from it by some unknown magic power given to him by rainbow unicorns that don't exist.
All this means that we'll get to see Aizen's bankai, one way or another ^^.

Also, Orihime didn't go with Ichigo through Garganta which means that Hiyori dies therefor making Shinji (and if we're lucky, the Vizards) go all berserk against Aizen. Maybe Gin first, for killing Hiyori.

Although those are just my thoughts. Discuss.

I...was so completely shocked when they finally came out and said that the godmodding main character will be the one to defeat the antagonist. I nearly died of surprise. Really.

It wasn't a very action-packed chapter, though, unlike the rest of the recent ones, but it was significant. Now they have another dual plot running, which is good, but, as you said, Hiyori's basically screwed at this point. I was sick of waiting for Gin to do something, so at least he stopped being a creepy bystander.

Unohana's going to do something to try to heal Matsumoto, Hinamori, and the rest of the seriously injured defenders, but it's pretty unclear as to how she'll actually be able to do that...since Aizen and co. are standing right there. Ichigo will probably go on one of his hero-rants, Aizen will smirk, and the two will duel it out. Cliché, but that's the way manga goes these days.

I've been wondering what happened to Ukitake, though. He just sort of disappeared.

Maybe he's just standing by and enjoying the fight (read: Hiyori's death). Besides, he's sick and fight against Stark apparently already drained him out.
Although there's a possibility that Unohana is going to heal Hiyori because we haven't actually seen how powerful she can be.
That would completely ruin Fake Karakura Town arc plot.. Tho' it would be fun to see Unohana fight 'cos after all- everybody's wanting for it.

He kind of vanished after Wonderwice (-weiss?) impaled him, so I was just curious.

I can't wait for Unohana to do something worthwhile, for once. Since she's one of the oldest captains she has to be incredibly powerful. Kyoraku said he was far stronger than Hitsugaya, who has the strongest ice/water zanpaku-to, so I'd expect her to be around Kyoraku's level.

Also...a Bankai from every captain who's able would be nice. It'd be a loose end if they didn't cover that.
