1. When voting you MUST supply a reason. You can not simply say I vote number 1. Votes like those will not count, and will be deleted.
Example: I vote number 1. Reason being that Goku simply out classes Piccolo in numerous of things. Power, Ki etc. Special Beam cannon would either miss or get canceled out with one of Goku's moves. Goku also has SSJ 4 which pretty much outclasses a lot of DBZ characters in terms of everything.

I vote for Itachi Uchiha.

Reason being, out of all anime characters I am aware of, Itachi had the greatest foresight ever.
He was a genius even for an Uchiha, to the point where he was an ANBU captain by 13, he could always understand quickly how his opponents worked in battle and counter appropriately, then there's the Sasuke situation, from the time he murdered the Uchiha clan, he had already planned to play the role of a villain before Sasuke so that he would be forced to become a powerful Konoha ninja and one day Kill Itachi so that he could be a hero to Konoha.

Itachi joined Akatsuki so that he could keep tabs on them from the inside, then there was also Madara, Itachi knew all about madara and thus Madara saw Itachi as a threat, even after the battle with Sasuke, Itachi had already put a plan in place to try and kill Madara through Sasuke.

He is someone who can think so far ahead while also weighing up the scenario's and the possibility of what could go wrong, while also putting alternatives in place to ensure maximum Success rate.

I vote for Aizen Sosuke.

Aizen knows nearly everything about Soul Society including the Oken, even knowing how to make one. His experimentation increases his intellect even more; knowing how to create hollows and arrancars, knowing how to hollowfy a shinigami, and manipulating spirit particles and spirit energies in dangerous ways. He even knows more about the Hogyoku than its creator, Urahara.

He is also a masterful tactician, able to adjust without much effort to any combat situation. Although most of his tactics involve his zanpakuto's ability, there are few better ones than manipulating enemies.

I vote for Itachi Uchiha. I vote for him because out of the ones in the list, he seems to be the smartest and most powerful. At only an age of 13, he was captain of the anbu, and he killed the whole uchiha clan on his own. He is extremly intellligent in the fact since he planned everything that would happen in the next 6 years or so, and everything worked out perfectly. He can also see his own weaknesses and see when he can't win a fight, example, he knew he couldnt jump in to fight jiriyia because he knew he would be killed. Then theres the case of the mangekyu, with tsukuyomi and amateratsu, which can easily overpower anyone.

Graduataing from the academy at 7 (i beleive), he is a prodigy for the uchiha and the leaf village, that is my vote.

L from death note gets my vote because I believe his intelligence in problem solving, and critical thinking far surpasses everyone else in the roster. I think he can think several steps ahead, of even itachi.

Shinichi Kudo.

He has solved over 400 cases, that even the entire japanese police force couldn't figure out. He is only a teenager and one of the most well renowned crime investegators. Going on little to no evidence, or clues at all, he still manages to figure them out.

He has beaten some of the most famous theives at their own game. And a group even more deadly, and secretive than the yakuza. And still only a teenager.

Removing all in born geniuses aside and any forms of crazy powers and assistance from outside sources, I'm gonna have to give L my vote on this.

Hes solved crimes that entire countries haven't been able to solve. Lawliet has shown tremendous foresight in everything he does including taking even the most unassuming pieces of info and used it to open the way to countless other possibilities. Even while being born Autistic, hes taken his mental handicap and used it to assist him in scrutinizing everything and thinking outside the box. As intelligent and foreseeing as all of these people are, Lawliet has been able to reach their level all while having to deal with a crippling disorder and with no special in born gifts or talents to aid him.

Oh yeah, and hes only a teenager. For whatever thats worth.

He has incredible problem solving abilities mixed with a great understanding of how people think he is able to predict the moves of any villain and form a plan counter at lightning speeds he is undefeated in any arena of intelligence and therefore earns my vote.

I believe that L's foresight is greater than Itachi's, his mind works quicker than Shinichi,his strategy and skills at convicing and manipulating skills surpass Aizen's.His patience is almost unlimited and he leaves no openings when making a move, he can tell what kind of a person someone is with just a look and he has proven to be the greatest detective in Anime History by solving cases that were impossible for the rest of the world even when at disadvantage.That's why I vote for L

I vote for him because his genius allow him to turn human into zombie, he is also great team leader and strategist, Stein's understanding of soul wavelengths of other people allow him to nullify attacks directed at him since he can change his own soul wavelength to match the other's wavelength. Stein can read real intentions behind actions of other people and think several steps ahead. In every hard or critical situation he seems to always have a good solution.
