Jin

The winds picked up, feeding energy to the flames as they roared higher into the air. They roared so high that a tip of a flame waved right under the tip of a tent. It didn’t touch, but it was enough to ignite the tent from its intense heat. Jin slowly started to make his way out of the tent. Headed to a task he was in no hurry to get to. He still had both swords clutched in his hand as they pointed to the ground. So stiff and firm, but still holding there beauty grace as the flames lights bounced off of the swords. His hair was still covering his face as he let his head hung down. His hair waving back and forth with each powerful, bold step Jin took. There was no sobbing or deep breathing even though the tears kept coming. There was only the sound nature, the flames and wind feeding each other as they both became stronger. And with every bold step Jin took, the fire in the tent would slowly creep forward. They had a urge to lash out and burn everything in its path, but like wild canines being held by their master on there collar, it dared not to over step it’s bounds and only moved when it sensed right to do so.
Jin stepped on bottles and crates, crushing them all as he walked towards the whole in the tent. Even so, the sound of the wind and flames over took the sound of the breaking debris were like a lions roar to a mouse’s squeak. He had reached the opening in the tent, Ryouta lying at the base of the tree, only a few feet away. As he started to step out the tent he paused and looked up. Jin gazed thru his hair into the dark sky, trying to find the moon now completely hidden within the numerous black clouds. At first a single raindrop landed on his check, and then another, and then another. Seconds later his face was being pelted by the rain as it pounded on his face, blending in with his flowing tears.
Jin took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, enjoying the rain. Even though his face remained emotionless he still enjoyed it. He looked back down at the tree to see only a puddle of mud and blood where Ryouta once sat.
"Shit", he said under his breath now remembering the terrible task at hand. He no longer had the upper hand once Ryouta slipped away. It was now time for Ryouta’s counter attack. Jin's emotionless face turned. His eyes from the pit of hell returned to finish a task that would change his life. But little did he know, not succeeding in this battle has a more terrible fate. *Lighting then flashes.*
For at the top of a tree, you could see a figure of a man sitting there. You only saw the black outline being pounded on by the rain, and you saw yellow eyes that stood out more than a sun. These eyes didn't sparkle like a jewel, no, these eyes were cold. Dulled by the pain and suffering it has seen. No, the shine was long gone and only the evil remains stood there. Watching every move ever so carefully, not missing a single heart beat.
Jin shot a quick glance to some bushing moving against the wind to his right. While he was focused something caught his attention. It wasn’t something in the bushes but a low sound. It was the humming of shuriken as flew low to the ground. Cutting the grass as it zoomed forward towards this prey. But something was different about these that he noticed. But before he could realize it they were already on him, the only thing he could do was simply jump. But just as he jumped out the way and they were under his feet, they turned. They started to curve upwards and do an about face. “What the hell is this?” Jin thought. He swung his long sword to knock down the shuriken but missed, he swung just a little too low. Even so, the shuriken slowed down and fell right before his feet, like birds with clipped wings, seconds away from ripping out his eyes from their sockets.
Jin landed crouching to the ground now. “Since there he’s serious now I’ll have to be a lot more alert.” Jin said in a low voice. Observing his surroundings as he looked for a hint to Ryouta’s location. The fire seemed to stay back acting like a crowd of idiots watching a fight. Not carrying who won or lost or for what reason, only wanting to see bloodshed. The tree’s around him shook one by one. Up and down, from left to right, in no particular order, but they all seemed to circle him. A cage being made around the best.
The last thing that shook was the bushes in front of him. He stood up, feeling a sudden rush of unease pass over him. Ryouta emerged from the shadows, only enough for him to see his head and shoulders. “I’m sorry Jin; I don’t know why you would attack me like this. And when an animal has no intent of being peaceful the only thing left is to cage it.” Blood took a really long blink as he told him this. Jin took a step forward while Ryouta still had his eyes closed but stopped. Ryouta had thrown a kunai with some strange tag around the handle. It flew right past him and landed in the ground about 13 feet back.
“You should open your eyes; you’re not that good yet. Besides, what fun is it to kill a man with closed eyes?” The look in his eyes became wilder, his voice started to change not in tone but in overall sound. He took another step forward and this time the kunai Ryouta threw landed at Jin’s feet. Ryouta’s eyes wide open. “A lot’s changed since you left, you know longer know what I’m good at.” After saying that Ryouta’s eyes didn’t close all the way but seemed to get lazy as if he was sleepy. His body waved back and forth in a trance like movement. His hand twitched and something had cut Jin’s right arm. Then another one cut his left knee.
Ryouta’s arms picked up speed and just seemed to sling around as he rapidly threw kunai at him. A lot of them missed but it didn’t give the chance for Jin to move forward. Every time he saw away to slip thru or block his way up, there was always more to counter him. Jin couldn’t think fast enough; the only thing he thought of as if Ryouta was just randomly throwing kunai and shuriken, or did they all have a purpose. A second later they stopped and Blood eyes fully opened.
“Hm, I really don’t want to do this but your being unreasonable as always. Just wish I could’ve served you for a little bit longer.” Ryouta said as a light shine of silver could be seen in his eyes. With that he formed a hand seal and Jin looked down at something glowing below his feet. He just now realized that he was standing over the kunai Blood thru earlier with the tag on it. He jumped in the air, being blasted higher by the explosion the tag caused; if he had waited a little longer his legs would have disintegrated. But he escaped with just a few burns.
“Tch, don’t get ****y, did being on your own for so long make you forget who you’re dealing with?” Jin snarled as he continued to rise.
“No I didn’t sir, I know exactly the animal you are, and that there is no way for you to move in mid air at that speed.” In his left hand he was holding a string that was thin, to thin for the eye to catch by accident. But when Jin noticed it he let go. Just as he reached the peak of his jump he sheathed his sword. “Sorry Ai.” He thought. “Good job kid.” He told Ryouta just as he started his decent back to the ground. Just as he started to fall Ryouta let the string go and closed his eyes. Hundred of kunai flew from bushes. They came from everywhere. Every bush and tree had a few kunai and shuriken flying from it. They came at all angels, low high, left right, it was a metal cage of death.
“Hm, so that’s what he was doing huh, not bad.” The figure at the top of the highest tree said as he jumped off. He left with so much force it eradicated the top part of the tree. Ryouta turned and started to walk away but stop because of what he heard. All he heard was the sound of clashing metal. Not the sound of flash being pierced or bones being broken. But the cold sound of clashing metal, the sound of failure. “What the hell is it; I planned everything, every throw, every counter, every escape.” He paused and turned around yelling. “WHY THE HELL HAVEN’T YOU D….” He was cut off as he saw his answer. Standing there, a few feet away from his metal cage was a man with an eagle wing covering his face but revealed enough to show Jin being held in his arms and a single dull and dead looking yellow eye of an eagle. With a skinny pupil in it that stared Ryouta down; it rocked so much fear into him that Ryouta leaned against the tree behind him. He clenched his teeth together. “Tch, Mi-Mi-Migandas.” He spat out through his teeth. He quickly got a hold of himself and his mind started to race.
